Retailer leases 2,400 square feet
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Located on the east side of Broadway between 64th and 65th Streets, 1930 Broadway is also known as the Grand Tier. The upscale yoga-inspired athletic apparel company will occupy 2,400 square feet of retail space.
RKF Chairman and CEO Robert K. Futterman and Director Beth Rosen exclusively represented the landlord Glenwood Management Corporation. The tenant was represented by Jacqueline Klinger and David Firestein of Northwest Atlantic.
“1930 Broadway is in the lower Upper West Side, one of Manhattan’s fastest growing residential and commercial neighborhoods. This is a premier site with terrific visibility in an affluent residential area that boasts strong retail sales. Lululemon’s first-ever New York City flagship will benefit tremendously from the foot traffic the area generates,” said Futterman.
Lululemon is scheduled to open during the 2006 holiday shopping season.
RKF is presently exclusively marketing the balance of the 9,300 square feet of retail space located on the corner of 65th Street and Broadway.
As part of the leasing efforts at 1930 Broadway, RKF successfully secured 53,000 square feet of retail space for Bed Bath & Beyond in 2003. Other shopping opportunities are in close proximity including the Time Warner Center, Victoria’s Secret, Pottery Barn and Barnes & Noble.
