Firm brings beauty-themed restaurant to Las Vegas retail, entertainment center
LAS VEGAS, NV — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services secured a lease for Hawaiian Tropic Zone, a new restaurant, bar and lounge concept by restaurateur Dennis Riese and Adam Hock, owner of several nightclubs in New York City and Las Vegas. The restaurant signed for 13,000 square feet at the 475,000-square-foot Desert Passage, a retail and entertainment center on the Las Vegas Strip.
RKF Chairman and CEO Robert K. Futterman and Executive Vice President Frank Volk represented the tenant and the property owner Boulevard Invest, LLC.
“Hawaiian Tropic Zone will be a tremendous addition to Desert Passage,” said Futterman. Volk added that “the new Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s exciting concept unlike anything Las Vegas has ever seen. The restaurant is an exhilarating mix of great food and entertainment, which is enhanced by the exotic servers.”
This original restaurant, bar and lounge features famed chef David Burke, owner of New York City’s upscale eatery David Burke & Donatella as well as David Burke Las Vegas and David Burke Primehouse. The concept features the unusual marriage of Burke’s high-end cuisine with the sexy swimwear fashions by Nicole Miller.
The new restaurant is slated to open in May 2007 under restaurateur Dennis Riese’s management.
Other restaurants and entertainment venues within Desert Passage include bebe, French Connection, Sephora, Sisley. Ben Sherman, Urban Outfitters and Marciano will soon be opening locations.
Desert Passage is one of the largest retail and entertainment venues in Las Vegas. It has more than 140 stores and eight restaurants located at the “50-yard line” of the Las Vegas Strip surrounding the Aladdin Resort & Casino, and it is located across from the Bellagio Hotel. The property also contains theatres featuring Broadway musicals, concerts, and comedy acts. Boulevard Invest acquired Desert Passage in December 2003.
