Firm brings fashionable denim retailer to prime retail space in Union Square
NEW YORK, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), the nation’s leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services represented trendy apparel retailer G-Star Raw in its lease of 5,500 square feet at 873 Broadway.
RKF Associate Brett Weinblatt represented the tenant. Marty Meyer of 873 Broadway LLC represented building ownership.
G-Star Raw’s new space is located on the West block of Broadway between 18th and 19th Streets, the retail space is in Manhattan’s bustling Union Square area. With shopping, dining and cultural opportunities, Union Square has emerged as one of Manhattan’s leading retail districts, with the combination of national big-box retailers, trendy boutiques and gourmet food venues.
Retailers with a strong presence in Union Square include Whole Foods, DSW, Virgin Megastore, a flagship Circuit City, Diesel, Barnes & Noble, American Eagle Outfitters, Puma and Forever 21.
This will be G-Star Raw’s second retail location in New York City. The retailer’s flagship is located at 270 Lafayette Street and also has U.S. locations in Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Los Angeles; Newport Beach, CA; San Diego and San Francisco
