Luxury rental building sold for $170 million
New York, NY — Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (RKF), a leading independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services completed the sale of a 268,750-square-foot, 261-unit luxury rental building at 303 East 83rd Street for $170 million to Archstone-Smith Operating Trust.
Jeff Fishman, senior vice president of RKF, who heads up the firm’s investment sales and advisory services division, represented the seller, 303 East 83rd LLC.
Constructed in 1976, 303 East 83rd Street is located on the northeast corner of Second Avenue and 83rd Street in one of Manhattan’s most desirable residential neighborhoods. The building has 125 feet of frontage on 83rd Street and 153 feet on Second Avenue; a two-level parking garage for 115 cars; and more than 6,400 square feet of corner retail space, which is currently occupied by Upper East Side favorite Tony Di Napoli’s Restaurant and a dry cleaner.
