Howard Gilbert, formerly a senior managing director, is a veteran retail leasing broker with over 30 years of experience representing both retailers and landlords. His long list of accomplishments includes negotiating flagship locations on behalf of M&M’s World in Times Square and Build-A-Bear on Fifth Avenue, as well as over 33 branch and ATM locations throughout Manhattan for Bank of America since 2005. He has also served as the exclusive leasing agent for an equally impressive list of landlords including Solow Management Company, Kipp-Stawski Management Corp. and Metlife. Mr. Gilbert is currently marketing the retail portion of 575 Fifth Avenue, 1261 Second Avenue, 919 Second Avenue and 9 West 57th Street.
Joshua Strauss, formerly a managing director, specializes in landlord and tenant representation in the New York Metropolitan area and key downtown markets throughout the United States. His recent accomplishments include securing a new a 2,500-square-foot store for Vera Wang’s Ready to Wear line at 158 Mercer Street; representing the landlord in the leasing of 845 Madison Avenue to Tom Ford for the designer’s flagship; and the completion of numerous leases on behalf of Custo Barcelona. Mr. Strauss’s current leasing assignments include 181,000 square feet at The Times Square Building on behalf of AFI, USA; 14,800 square feet at 345 Park Avenue South on behalf of RFR Realty; and 5,353 square feet at 475 Greenwich Street.
